TopLegalMatch is not a law firm. We connect consumers who have been injured in car accidents with independent, licensed personal injury attorneys. No attorney-client relationship is created by using our website.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: first name, last name, email address, phone number, IP address
  • Case information: accident type, injury details, at-fault party, state of residence, and other information provided during our case review quiz
  • Internet activity: browser type, user agent, device type, pages visited, referring URL, UTM campaign parameters
  • Consent records: timestamps of consent, consent text shown, IP address at time of consent, verification codes
  • Call recordings: if you call us, the call may be recorded for quality and compliance purposes as disclosed at the start of the call

3. How We Collect Information

  • Forms and quizzes: when you complete our Free Case Review quiz or any form on the website
  • Phone calls: when you call the phone number listed on our site
  • SMS verification: when you verify your phone number via Twilio Verify during the quiz process
  • Cookies and tracking: we use cookies, pixels (including Meta Pixel), and similar technologies to understand site usage and improve our services
  • Third-party certification: we may use TrustedForm or Jornaya to create a consent certificate documenting your interaction with our forms

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To match you with licensed personal injury attorneys based on your case details
  • To provide you with a free case review and connect you with legal representation
  • To follow up on your inquiry via phone, email, or SMS (with your consent)
  • To verify your phone number and prevent fraud

5. Who We Share Information With

  • Licensed attorneys: independent personal injury attorneys who may review your case and provide legal representation
  • Service providers: Twilio (phone verification and SMS), GoHighLevel (CRM and communications), Supabase (data storage), Vercel (website hosting)
  • Consent verification: TrustedForm and/or Jornaya (lead certification)
  • Advertising platforms: Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for advertising optimization — we share conversion events, not your personal data directly
  • Legal compliance: law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. When we share information with attorneys, it is for the purpose of fulfilling your request for a free case review.

Your SMS consent and phone number are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. SMS opt-in data (including your phone number and consent status) is used exclusively by Media Stock LLC to communicate with you about your case review inquiry and is not sold, rented, or distributed to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. SMS / Text Messaging Policy

Opt-In: We send SMS messages only to users who have provided prior express written consent. Consent is obtained through one of the following methods:

  • Checking a clearly labeled TCPA consent checkbox on our case review quiz or web form, which states that you agree to receive text messages from Media Stock LLC (TopLegalMatch) and our licensed attorney partners
  • Pressing 1 during a recorded IVR call to verbally consent to receive text messages, as disclosed in the IVR prompt

Message Types: You may receive the following types of text messages:

  • Case review follow-ups and attorney match notifications related to your inquiry
  • Appointment reminders and callback scheduling
  • Attorney credentials and contact information
  • Legal resource updates and free case review reminders

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interaction. Typically 1-5 messages per inquiry over a 72-hour period, unless you respond to continue the conversation.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

Opt-Out: You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to consent to receive text messages in order to receive a free case review or obtain legal representation.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to improve your experience, analyze website traffic, and serve relevant advertisements. Third-party services (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics) may also place cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Typically, lead data is retained for up to 36 months. Call recordings are retained for up to 24 months. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 9).
